Thank you for visiting my site! You're probably here because you're considering getting pregnant in the near future so I'll tell you a bit more about myself and why I decided to create this community and the first fitness and wellness program for women planning to get pregnant.
I am a mother of one, Shai is my daughter and she is 3. My husband, Shai and I travel a lot but I was born in Melbourne, Australia. My daughter was also born in Australia and now we live overseas.
Currently, I am on my own journey to conceive so I totally understand the need for this course, hence why it has come to fruition.
The idea came about when I was training and I told my trainer after doing a strict pull up: “I’m training because I plan to get pregnant soon, so doing some super pre-pregnancy training”. I thought to myself - why isn’t there a program that is dedicated to women for the prevention of unwanted weight gain and take some pressure of your mental state of mind during and post pregnancy? Not another program claiming to turn you into superwoman but one that will make you feel good and keep you healthy both physically and mentally.
During this time my closest friends were going through some body issue whilst pregnant and post pregnancy. I felt there was a huge need to address the issue before rather than after. I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter Shai, the doctor told me “you are free to do any training (in its limits) as long as you have been doing them before you were pregnant”. So for all the ladies that may have not thought about fitness prior to getting pregnant, what do they do?. Because to take up a training program during pregnancy may not be the best option.
I want to encourage women thinking preventative to make childbirth easier on our bodies. It is within our reach to get our body ready for carrying a baby for 9 months and then learning how to adapt to the changes once your baby is born.
This program takes my motherhood fitness struggles, alongside the feedback from hundreds of women to design a program that will help you strengthen not only your core, not only the areas that are prone to gain weight, but also help you learn the day to day movements and mobility for what is ahead once you have your little bubs.
These exercises and stretches are helpful throughout your journey. You will benefit now, during your pregnancy and once your baby is born. My program is not intense and is not intended to give you a bulging six pack. I wanted to craft a to help women nurture the body and activate it - to give you a positive and healthy now, during and after birth.
